BIOGRAPHY

Miranda Berg is a talented emerging artist, born in the state of Arizona in the USA. From a young age Miranda was drawn to exploring the world around her and felt compelled to translate those experiences into all different forms of artistic expression. She grew up in a family that recognized her natural talent for drawing and encouraged her passion for creativity.  As a young adult, Miranda spent time traveling all over the world experiencing different cultures and art expressions. This inspired her to take the next step in her professional journey. Miranda studied at The Milan Art Institute where she excelled in creating meaningful pieces of art. Soon after she launched her career as a full time artist.

 

Miranda’s art expresses a deep yearning for more and invites you to join the journey. It challenges people to be courageous in their exploration and the discovery of who they are and what they were made for. Miranda chooses imagery that expresses freedom, specifically a freedom that comes when you are truly known and seen. Her creative process beckons you to look closer and go deeper. What she paints tells a story of unearthing adventure and reveals the power of discovering your purpose.  She often collages messages, and quotes into her paintings and the only way you can tell they are there is if you look really closely. It brings a sense of curiosity and wonderment and encourages you to go deeper and really explore the painting. Miranda often says “You are who you are while you are becoming who you are". This phrase has been a source of artistic direction for Miranda as she inspires people to experience freedom in journey.

 

Currently, Miranda resides in the heart of Europe in the historically creative city of Prague. Her studio is full of natural light and is not far from downtown Prague which provides many opportunities for drawing inspiration from the beauty around her. Whether it be from textures in the historical architecture or the stunning parks and nature throughout the city and surrounding areas, Miranda finds connections to carry into her work. Miranda is currently working on a new collection and plans to exhibit her pieces in Prague this year.
